BASKET WEAVING WORKSHOPS
An afternoon spent with, friendly, Thitaku learning how to weave baskets will not be easily forgotten.
A 3 hour workshop costs P300.00 p.p.
An overview of the islands and waterways of the Okavango gives you an insight into the shear size and beauty of our wetlands and the Wildlife they support. Flights cost P1200.00 per person for a 1 hour scenic flight.
A Bird watching walk is available and conducted on the outskirts of Maun. This is a great activity if you have a spare afternoon or morning and costs only P400.00 p.p. (minimum 2 people) for 4 hours
A one and a half hour sunset boat cruise down the Thamalakane river whilst viewing game in the maun wildlife sanctuary is a nice way to end your day. Sunset cruises cost P600.00 p.boat (max 6 people). It’s usually easy to find others to join.
